well today my son has been super cranky- hes teething and his poor mouth is really bothering him :( generally i just let him go to sleep when he is ready to go to sleep because he is a major fighter when it comes to sleep, actually every night when he gets tired he will work himself into a sweat trying not to go to sleep even tho i rock him and snuggle him up-- but thats just him, he doesnt want to miss anything.

but tonight he was having an especially hard time so i went and got the new wrap and wore him while i finished cleaning up and then went and sat down with him and relaxed some before starting my classwork online (usually by this time hes asleep)- but i was just amazed by how quickly his mood changed! we took this picture like 5 minutes after i put him in the wrap, he smiled and watched me work for quite a while then started getting sleepy so i put him in a cradle hold and he almost immediately fell asleep, no fighting! and even more, a few minutes later he starts giggling in his sleep! i love it, ive never seen him giggle in his sleep before, we cosleep too and i can only think its because he was so happy and secure! baby in sling

  • awwww yeah if your child is a fighter just wear him in the wrap if you can sometimes movement outside of being rocked to sleep helps even more

  •  it replicates some of the feelings & sounds of being in the womb, so he was happy, he felt safe and nurtured. Good Job Momma!
