I am due August 1st and they think baby is going to have a cleft lip!! so i am not even sure how to handle this?
All I can say is to be strong, and you will get through it. My daughter was born with a bilateral cleft lip/palate and we didn't even know till she was born. She has had 5 surgeries total so far, 3 lip and nose repair and 2 palate. It was hard for me in the beginning especially since they never caught it on any of the ultra sounds. It did get better, and it will make you a stronger person. You will need to be very patient. You will get through it and that baby will sure be worth it!!!
thank you so much! I feel like a failure as a parent... I dont smoke drink or drugs when i am not pregnant let alone when i am i did it all right I take prenatal vitamins and I went to the doctors why me
I know what you are going through, just remember that it is not from anything you have done during your pregnancy. Things happen in life that we just can't change, it makes us a better person and not to take anything for granted. Stay strong, and you will get through it.
