I'm curious if anyone has used an online university to get their degree.
My hubby is a high school grad who started in his career as an 18 year old. He's now 47 and has stayed in the same industry, starting at the bottom and working his way up to middle management.
Well, his company is doing a restructuring program and unfortunately, he was "demoted" and received a 25% cut in pay.
So, we are wondering if he needs to go back to school for a business degree. I looked into Phoenix University and we requested some info from them, but we really have no idea if this route will help us or just land us in debt.
How do you figure out whether or not the time/money investment in a higher education is really worth it?
DH
is going to talk to his regional manager soon and I want to know if he
should ask if pursuing a business degree will make a significant
difference in his worth to the company. My husband isn't willing to
spend a lot of time travelling, and this seems to be required in upper
management, so we are on the fence on if we should consider the degree.
