I am currently a SAHM of two boys while hubby works FT. A few years ago I cleaned apts as a private contractor at a few complexes that were managed by the same woman. Well she was fired for embezzling money and all of the contractors that she had hired were let go.
I want to get back up in runnin gbut not sure where to start. I've been putting ads on craigslist in the household and labor section for services offered but not receiving very many calls.
I also have a twitter account and follow lots of apt, condos, and real estate companies and agents on there.
I have a fax machine and would like to invest in a fax number so I could possibly fax fliers to businesses in mty nighborhood. Has anyone every gained business this way? I've thought about driving to differnt places and dropping the flier in the drop box but what a wast of gas that would be if no one books a cleaning.
What I'd like to know the most is how do you reel in your clients? And if any of you have contracts with business (doctors office, bank, church, etc) that you have a contract with how do you go about doing this?
I am a young mom with two boys and would really like to pick my business back up so I can spend more time with them. Otherwise It's back to FT work for me and babysitter for them.
