Question to the Admins about advertising

Hi Ladies!

What are your views on placing ads?  The company I am with either teaches us to place ads or buy leads.  I don't have the money for leads and I don't have a lot of time to place ads.  What are you ladies doing to bring in contacts?

Great Question!

I have been there before with my previous company, but with my company now we do things differently.

Placing ads are becoming a thing of the past.  Now a days it is about relationship marketing and network marketing.  So for me, I take the time to get to know someone first.  I typically don't bring up what I do unless they ask.  When you take the time to get to know some versus placing an ad, the people thinks that you are thinking of them as an actual person versus your next recruit or customer.

Also the quality of your distributors/customers will be different if you take the time to get to know them first.  They are most likely going to trust you and believe in you and stick with it longer.

Make sense?

I agree with Laura!! I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to not be placing ads and calling leads anymore. I used to stay up for hours just copy and pasting ads into craigslist then sifting through the responses and calling everyone back. Relationship marketing is BY FAR the best thing that has ever happened to me. When it's done properly(that is the big key) it is so much fun and will seriously pay you for a lifetime. So now I have MORE people to talk to, more QUALITY and I'm having a BLAST!!

GOODBYE ads LOL.

When I first started in DS, I was placing ads left and right. After about a year I got tired of doing it. I never received any business from doing that. I got a few recruits in the past, but once they joined they didn't bother to work the business.

Now I have people coming to me and asking what I do. I also, get alot more sales that way. It really is about building relationships!

Being in Network Marketing and Online Marketing for 9 years I will honestly tell you that does not work anymore. 5 years ago it did, now it does not. The power in building your business is direclty correlatted by the relationships you build and open up daily. My advice for my Team Members is to not invest only but your initial investment into the business and monthly autoship, outside of that until you are making enough to invest back in, do what is free and creates results now. Everything from Facebook Marketing to Offline Communities. You have the ability to open relationships, focus on creating 5 to 20 new relationships a day... that will take less time, get more results and will not require an investment.

This also comes down to the Team and Company you are in. Do they provide the training in these areas, it needs to be easy for you to duplicate and help those you are bringing into the business.
