looking for work at home
I am looking for a job where I don't have to pay money up front after I start making money that is diff. Anyone have anything like that avaliable?
I too am in the same boat. So far I have come up with jobs where you have to pay for your own credit check and some jobs where you have to make yourself a business or corporation because the companies hire you as a business rather than as an individual. I don't know what that costs in your area but it is worth it to research the idea. There is a website where a man has done a lot of work at home jobs. If he has not done them then he will research them. I don't see where he is active online this year but his website still has a lot of information. He has a page where he recommends some places to earn money. Some are jobs and some are ways to get extra money; if you do several of them daily, the money adds up as though you had a job. This one page caught my eye. So far I have applied for a position at Lion Bridge and Virtual Bee. Read different pages to get more information. Find out what will work for you. The better places of employment may be listed on this page entitled as below on workathomenoscams dot com
"I Need To Replace My Income!"
Also, I found Jobrapido dot com for virtual work. I have seen several companies willing to hire people who work at home but I did not find a good fit for me. If you are an IT person, nurse, teacher, engineer, etc you may have your pick of places. I am looking for non-phone work that is not computer tech, teaching, food, insurance, banking, or medical. I suppose that puts me in a particular data entry category and this is a niche where I don't see as many choices that I like.
If you have a specialty/niche that you used to do in your working or personal world, perhaps it is better to make your own job. Teach someone what you do individually or in a class or seminar setting. There is a great of money in that. You decide what to get paid and you make it happen. What are your talents? What are your interests? Check out fiverr dot com and have people pay you five bucks at a time for simple tasks. The people making the most money are interesting, some are silly, and some things they do require no talent at all. check it out. I think you will like it. Also look at etsy dot com. Sell things there; crafts, homemade stuff, old clothes, supplies, etc. I found Tiffany Dow dot com / blog to be nice. She is not too busy to help you with tips. She actually returns my emails very fast. There is extra money in what she does. If you follow directions, you will get more money than you imagined. I got busy with school and did not finish her instructions. Look at The best work at home bookstore dot com It lists categories where you can buy helpful work at home books and ebooks. One of my favorite places to review a larger list of over one hundred work at home job places is http://workathomemoms dot about dot com/od/workathomecareers/ss/wahjobdirectory dot htm
I hope this helps
Could I clarify a point for you Nicole that may help? When you say you are looking for a job that you don't have to pay money up front, you are right, you are looking for a job. Employers "Hire" an employee, and you shouldn't have to pay for that. However, if you are looking for a "Business" you need to understand that the business fee that you pay up front is in return for a complete business package that would cost you thousands and thousands if you did it on your own. For instance, with the company I am with, my up-front fee paid for a ready-made business that my company has invested millions in, and I am given everything I need to have my own business including website, training, back-office, etc. . I did NOT have to create the product, design the logo, create a website, develop a business plan, do advertising, legal issues, trademarks, accounting, marketing, etc. You can jump right into a ready-made business for a minimal fee.
Here's something else. I tried a couple of my own little companies in the past that I thought were good ideas. I spent months and months, and over $5,000, only to see my "little ideas" were not going to work. So again, an up-front fee, for a built-in, tried and true business, is a bargain!
The reason you hear so many people fail at these businesses, is that people think it's quick and easy money, and doesn't take work, and because they only had to invest a few hundred dollars, they walk away easily. But the people that stick it out, and work hard, can make huge money. All coming from a very minimal start-up fee.
Maybe that will help you in determining, do you want a "job" or do you want a "business." It's more than reasonable to pay a fee for a business, in most cases, you can earn that fee back very quickly.
Hope that helps! Have a great day!!
