How can I work from home?

I am a mother of four, working as a sales rep for a freight broker. I can't stand my job and honestly I'm not very good at it. I would really like to work from home but I have no idea where to start. I've done Avon and 31 just for fun and dont want the evening hours for parties and I dont want a get rich quick idea. I want a legitamate job that I can do at home and make a little money. Can anyone help?

I was a nurse for 13 yrs. I missed my kids and really wore my back out lifting patients. I needed to change. I looked for a while for something to do at home, but wasnt interested in parties or selling. Now I do advertising and marketing online on my time.
