In your husbands inbox- Here is a little background. This morning, my husband told me to go into his email for an address for someone we were picking up a backpack  from craigslist. Anyways, I clicked on an email labeled "Hi Tom" assuming it was about the backpack we were picking up- I was wrong below is what it said

can you maybe come see this over here,

misss ya, mee

Now I clicked on the link, its some greeting card that says I have a crush on you, etc.... now in my husbands email adress his name is NOT part of his address so its not like someone just guessed his name was Tom. In the past I have caught DH a few times talking to other women online, in a sexual, cybering kind of way.  I don't want to jump to conclusions, I just don't know what to do. It doesn't help the fact that I have been in the mood for a long time because I have a 8 week old and prior to that for 8 weeks I was on bedrest. Any thoughts please?

ask him... it let me click the link to see the greeting.. at the bottom it advertises a site for him to go see the pics.. maybe if he's a member of that site and hasn't been there in a while they are trying to get him back  there so thats how they have his name and email address.

I had one of this same emails sent to my mail inbox...I do not talk to anyone sexually online or whatever. Maybe it is one of the scam emails. I wouldnt get too worried yet as i said i had one like this before.

I would ask him. Just tell him you accidentally looked at it thinking that it was the craigslist thing. Had he already opened it/read it before you did?

Nope, I think it is a scam. I clicked the link too, it comes up with an e-card that says "I've fallen for you" Then if you read the paragraphs she says, "if you want to look at the pics, you might need your credit card to verify your age, because I did"....that is false. I would assume by reading this it is fake. And it is a porn site with her pics on it...I have blockers on our computer and it is blocked saying it is porn.

both my husband and I get things like this all the time. His name may not be in his email name, but my guess is when he signed up he used his real name when it asked for it. Most ppl do.
