So as you may know I have dyed black hair, I wanted a change so I decided to get an at home bleach kit, I went with clairol nice and easy born blonde maxi.  I put it on and left it in for 3 hours and still my hair was just orange so I tried it again and here are pics of what it looks like now.  Now should I continue to try and bleach it or can I dye over it since it's pretty light?  And if I can what color would you recommend?  THANKS!!

So I dyed over the orange with a dark brown but some of the orange is still showing through, I'll redye it again in a few weeks.  Here it is now

I would  dye it.  If you dye it an ash color it will cover up the brassy orange color.  I don't think I would keep bleaching it.

You can dye over it, but I wouldn't do much more than that. Overbleaching will cause it to break and literally fall out. Bleaching over dye will always do funky things, especially if it's black. So just keep that in mind next time.

Dont bleach it again! I have stripped my hair from over bleaching. It doesnt retain color well anymore and it is stick straight even after cutting it all off and regrowing it. I would recommend you put a toner on it and leave it be for a week or so. Then redye it. Or go see a professional. I have been dying and bleaching my hair for a long time. I learned my mistakes the hard way.

Over processing bleach will break and periously damage your hair. You can see if someone can professionally tone it or leave it and let it rest, seriously condition it for a couple of days, then color over it with a darker color.

ummm if you keep bleaching it, the hair will start to thin out and fall off you have to wait at least a week to dye it a different color so you wont damage your hair.

Do not use an ash color it will fry your hair and the reason it is orange is because you cant go from one extreme to the next..... NEVER go from black to blonde it will always be orange!

Go to a professional if you keep trying to color it you will only make it worse
