Hi ladies,

My hair is starting to grow back after chemo. I already have people looking at me because I limp, wear a foot brace, use a walker or cane, and am only 24. Also, if I'm wearing shorts my scars and skin graft are very visible from my limb salvage surgery. I don't mind that people look and wonder...I'm just wondering if me going out without my wig on will make people stare even more. Sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. Does my hair look normal enough yet or should I wait a bit longer? I miss long hair and like wearing my wigs, it just gets awfully hot sometimes. Be honest, do I look strange? Thanks for your opinions!

I say go for it! Be proud that you made it through what you did and are still able to put that gorgeous smile on your face!

Outside of that, go with whatever you feel the most comfortable with.  If you're hot than don't wear the wig.  If you want to feel the hair, than go for it.
