So hard to be grown up about this....VENT

Ok so this girl (that is supposed to be one of my "great" friends) is talking shit about me...I am a completely married woman and have been with my hubby for 4 years now.  She told some girl that I do not even know that I have been talking/flirting/hooking-up with my hubby's cousin. He has made flirty comments in the past, but they were in front of my hubby and completely harmless....I just don't understand why she would do this. Not only am I hurt by it, but I am livid. I am trying to be a grown up, but the little kid in me wants to go punch in the face..(i know violence isn't the answer). The real question is should I approach her about it? How??

Just ignore it. Shit-starters hate that.

She is probably jealous of your relationship.  She must be miserable in her own life so she feels like trying to drag you down with her.  I would laugh it off - obviously she has nothing better to do with her life than talk shit about you so when you really think about it it's kinda pathetic.

You should ask her about it. She might have not said that and the other person is lying. Then again, if YOU and your DH know its not true, then why bother?
