Do you allow your kids to talk at the dinner table?

Yes. As long as they don't get out if hand.

I encourage talking at the table. My DS is only 2 and DH doesn't come home until long after dinner, so if I didn't talk to DS (and he talk to me) it would be one lonely meal!

Sure, what's the harm in it? As long as they eat their food.

We don't have a dinner table, but if we did, it would be the time or all of us to talk.

DD is only 16 months, hopefully in 2 years we'll move somewhere that has space for a dinning table.
