What does a man who lives in a semi truck need a chest freezer for?

DH's friend was upset today b/c his parents said he could have a chest freezer they were giving away, then they turned around and gave it to his little brother and his boyfriend. What I don't get is the borther and his boyfriend live in the boyfriend's semi truck. He owns it and when he's not delivering a load, they just go where ever they want and stay in campgrounds and at motels. What in the world does he want with this freezer?

Like, a full sized chest freezer? Or a smaller one that would fit in the truck? LOL! I guess the size of it would make a difference.

To big for the truck? IDK why they would need it? Unless they own a home somewhere & need to keep it there with non-perishables since they travel so often.

Otherwise, I have NO idea what they would need with it?

Robe, they don't own a house, I asked.

Yes, ladies I joked dead bodies too, the friend's brother probably wouldn't, but his boyfriend creeps me out.

Maybe they were going to keep it at someone else's house to store meat or something in?

well i dont really know what a chest freezer is, but my hubby used to be a truck driver and they always have a fridge/freezer for keeping food and drinks since they are always on the road and its expensive and unhealthy to buy stuff on the road all the time
