Big Milestone - kinda sad though :(

Last night my 21 m/o slept through the night :(

Now most of you are saying, "Omg that would be great, you're so lucky," etc., lol and while I appreciate the sleep, it was bittersweet.

We co-sleep, so he normally nurses several times a night...

But last night...

*sob sob sob*

Hubby put him to bed (without me nursing him) and we woke up at 7 this morning, with no nursing.

*more sob sob sob*

My baby is growing up :'(

umm not sleeping through the night at 21 months would be a bit ridiculous I think...my kid has been sleeping throughthe night since he was 6 months old...and seeping through the night is considered more then 5 hours in a row...

And I actually don't mind getting up with him, I love being up with him in the middle of the night, its special cuddle time :)

Well according to your terms he's been sleeping through the night for a while now I guess.

And its not ridiculous at all. My kid, get over it.

well that's good that you don't mind...i couldn't handle that though..I was stressed when he wasnt sleeping through the night...especially because I was still working when he was waking up like 3 times a night...i'm glad he sleeps though the night now...

you are crazy lol jk.  My DD is 14 mo and she nurses several times a night still.  I can't wait for her to sleep!  The other night she slept in her crib for 4 hours straight so at least there is hope.
