Thermostats....

Ok we are moving to southern Oklahoma (from Colorado) in a little over a month. Where we are now, they don't have A/C in the house (in the 5-6 houses we've lived in here, none have A/C) and we have a wood stove for heat.

New house is total electric (central heat and air) what do you ladies keep your thermostats on in winter AND summer. And what do you do to save on electric bills (I know turn lights off that kinda thing)

We keep it between 68 and 70 year round.
We turn stuff off when not in use. In the winter when I'm done cooking I leave the oven open to cool off and heat the house.

same here when we r home but we have a programable t~stat so i think in the winter it drops to 58 and in summer goes up to 80 durning the day while we are at work. It also drops a couple of degrees when we go to sleep. I honestly don't know cause dh programs it. If i get too hot or too cold i just over ride the system
