When your babys wake up at night...

Do you go get them?

My 9 1/2 month old wakes up, and crys. Dh wants me to stop going to get her and let her fall asleep on her own. :/

I always did. I didn't like to let him go to sleep crying.

i pop a boob in his mouth. he wont stop and fall asleep on his own.

Yep. My 16 month old still wakes up once or twice throughout the night.

Dd is 2 so if I hear her for just a min I don't but if she's real upset I do

I told dh I cant just let her cry. I take her downstairs and rock her. I hate hearing her cry :(

i stayed with my bf for the first time, and he said "i dont want him in bed with us" so i told him "well, he wakes up through the night. if you dont want him in bed, when he cries bloody murder, YOU can get up with him and comfort him....see how easy it is. im not gonna get up, nurse him, and put him back in his pack n play just for him to get up again in 10 minutes..."

it shut him up.

I let them cry for a couple minutes if they don't stop and fall asleep on thier own by 3 min I go in there. I still go in dds room and she's 2 1/2 and some times in ds room if I hear him
