I'm mildly sleep deprived so I hope this makes sense. When DS was born in April he was instantly the center of my world, even after the hell he did to me before he was born lol. With DD i didnt feel that instant bond like I did with ds, hubby felt it with her instantly but he didnt feel it with ds till he was several months old. now as rough as my pregnancy with DS was DD was easy till just before she was born and started showing signs something wasnt right, it ended up that the placenta had separated and her birth was a huge bloody mess, i nearly needed a transfusion because I lost so much blood. anyway I almost feel like I'm afraid to get attached to her because if they hadn't started to induce me when they did and had waited till this week to do it instead, the dr who delivered her said that she probably would not have made it. She was born just shy of 38 weeks and is perfectly healthy even though she is tiny, even preemie diapers swallow her 6 lb 7.9 oz body. So did anyone else felt more of a bond/attachment to one child than they did to another?

I haven't had my second baby girl yet, but I already feel just as strong of a bond with this one. I know it will be overwhelming, but I know ill be just as attached to this one as I am with my 4 yo.

I didn't have a bond with my DS in the beginning it took awhile for me to realize im now a mom. I enjoyed feeling him in my belly but when he came my exdh was the first to hold him because I had a c section. It wasn't until he was about 10 days old before I felt like a mom. I think it's normal for some due to hormone levels after birth.

I think every pregnancy and delivery is different and other extenuating circumstances that develop can make you bond faster or bond more slowly. Don't focus on comparisons between this one or that one, but rather just focus on the kids and how much you love them. Your Love them both with all your might and do the best you can and it'll all be okay. :)

I felt a stronger bond to ds than I did to dd. But dd was a 30 weekers and I didn't get to see her and hold her until hours after she was born. I didn't hold her for days after she was born. I was mad at her for coming early, which was horrible, but i was.
She's 2 now and we are very close and bonded together. I love her just like I love my ds.
