Am I the only one that has extreme pain during sex? I can be soaking wet turned on and still every movement feels like a knife in there. It wasn't like this before I had my children but I didn't think my c sections would affect my vagina. I hate it I make it through for dh but man does it hurt. So am I alone here?

Have your periods become more painful as well? And/or are they heavier? Are tampons painful now? Or is it sex exclusively?

When I was pregnant with my first I did have that same problem, sometime it was so bad we couldn't even start before I told him to stop but after I had my boy and healed up I was back to normal! Might want to mention that to your doctor though!

Yeah talk to the dr. Does hubby know how it feels for you? It could just be how you're doing it, even. If you tell him he could try to change things up a little bit to make it more comfortable for you.

Definitely talk to your doctor. While its not exactly uncommon, it's not normal. Good luck!

You need to talk to your ob/gyn about it. They usually ask you about pain during urination or sex at your 6 week checkup after a c-secrion. Mine was an emergency c-section, happened so fast that the anesthesia didn't kick in til it was almost over. That hurt like a bish. But i didnt have any pain afterwards during sex, so id bring it to your docs attn.

talk to your doc!

before I had my cysts removed, sex was very painful! I brought it to my docs attention and found out I had cysts. now that they have been removed, sex is great!

That's how it feels for me sometimes too....I had my second c section 2 yrs ago. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be, but I get a burning sensation that causes me to stop the hub sometimes....this will happen if we have gone longer than a week without doing it...
My periods have gotten worse after my c sections too...what about you?

I have the same issues as OP, with painful sex after my c sections....but its more like a burning sensation if we have gone longer than a week....Ive been checked for infections, and I know that's not it. I've also gotten extremely heavy and painful periods after my 2 sections and tampons hurt, especially when I pull them out (even though they are completely full)
Does all this mean something??
