My 7 month old dd has been miserable the past couple days. She has a cold and she is teething. Saturday night she had fevers on and off most of the night and then she was fine all day yesterday and the last night she got fevers again, not as bad as they were the night before but I have to say her mood was worse last night. I also noticed she was tugging on her ears so I am thinking she might have an ear infection. I made her an appointment for today and I know she needs to go so we can figure out what might be going on but I am dreading it. I have a feeling she will have to get a catherter to give a urine sample. She has kidney reflux which is when she pees some urine backs up into the kidneys. So she had been put on an antibiotic for a year (which is up in August) as a prevention from getting infection but they told me anytime she has a fever that they are most likely going to want to do a urine sample to make sure she has no infection in her kidneys. On top of everything I am tired and starting to get my kids cold. Oh yeah my 3 year old dd is sick too. GRRRRR!!!
Oh no! It's awful seeing your kids not feeling well. I hope the appointment gives the results you are looking for.
For reals, Can't I just be pregnant and have that be bad enough? PIOG
