i saw something in another group. sparked my curiosity, in some states apparentally its considered child abuse. one of my SILs lives in a state where its not allowed but she says she had to sign papers saying teachers/principal couldnt touch her kids. that part ive never heard of. i though it was illegai in all states for school staff to touch children.
also i spoke with my therapist about it the other day. he says nothing is wrong with a spank on the butt or tap on the fingers.thoughts/opinions on the topic??

i was spanked as a child too. i see nothing wrong with spanking, i just dont think it should always be used. it can make small kids more agressive. but occasionally if my son does something that could hurt himself he gets a small swat on the butt. id rather do that than see him get into something he could seriousally hurt himself ex. trying to play with the tv or trying to mess with the cord to the lamp.
i dont believe its a teachers place to spank a child. period.
