What are your thoughts on laws banning texting and driving?

I hope it gets banned. My good friend almost died texting while driving because a semi truck pulled out in front of her while she was going 60 mph. She rear ended it.

It's a good thing. There is absolutely no reason for texting and driving, it is beyond ridiculous.

I agree with the ban. I live in Pennsylvania and the ban is going into effect next month. People are flipping out about it. I don't get it.
