You and me both. I was supposed to go down and visit the inlaws last weekend, but the sky fell out and decided to bomb both cars lol.

My cousin is terribly homesick now too, she used to go to Mardi Gras every year.

I just miss the whole spirit of the season. All the decorations and food and festivities. Ya know?
Its like if you grew up with all the regular christmas stuff every year and then moved somewhere where it doesn't exsist. Lol

Yep thats pretty much what she says as well. She grew up down there and moved to Virginia when she was 16, it was a huge change. They used to send us care packages of beads every year lol.
