How much emotion I still carry from dd's NICU days. Tomorrow ( well pretty much today) is the third anniversary of when we brought her home. After 58 long scary days ( and only days before the doctors had no guess on when we could bring her home) it was a joyous day and yet I've spent the evening pouring over her NICU album with tears of thankfulness and love.
I love you Bekah <3

My ds was in the nicu for 17 days. Longest, hardest 17 days of my life. He was at a hospital over an hour away for 9 of those days and I couldn't afford to see him daily while he was there.

I work in the NICU and see the pain. I can only imagine. My daughter had to have a major surgery at 9 months. Boy......

One of my best friends' daughter was in the nicu for 47 days. She is such a strong and powerful woman and mother. There is something so awesome about a mother of a baby who has been through all of that. I respect and admire you. I cannot imagine how I would cope. Soooo glad everything went well for your daughter and she is happy at home with you :)

It has made the both of you stronger...
I'm sorry you had to go through all that, but so glad it had a great outcome.
