Question: When a funeral procession is passing you driving, do you..
Total Votes: 87
My friend and I wound up behind a funeral procession yesterday and it got us talking. I was always taught to pull over for respect of the deceased. She had never heard that. There were cars that just passed, some pulled over just for the hearst, and some that pulled over for the entire procession. I pull over for the entire procession.
EDIT I am talking wether they are comming up from behind you or if you are driving say south and they are heading north!

1 mom liked this
It actually pisses me off when I see people keep driving.
Always pull over for everyone!
It's respect.

Yes, out of respect you are supposed to pull over and wait for everyone in the procession

This. Plus, cops on motorcycles are usually at the front and back of the line.

I pull over for everyone, my grandmother always did, her reason was for respect for the deceased. I don't do it for that reason. And I don't do it as much as I used to but then again I haven't been seeing many funerals.
