How Long Do You Boil Your Eggs?

Everyone I ask irl has a different opinion. Its rangeing from 12 to 20 minutes, on medium heat.

How do you do it?

it takes about 10 minutes

fill a pot with cold water, just enough to cover the eggs. bring to a boil, then boil for 10 minutes. remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes. Then rinse immediatly in cold water and put in the fridge.

i get perfect eggs every time

I have done it in the oven and boiled the water first. Both ways keeps the yolks from turning green
