Best excuse for getting out of a ticket

What's the best excuse you've heard (or used) to get out of a ticket?

I got pulled over once bc the tags on my car were expired. I told the cop the truth "my stepdad was supposed to put them on. I had them but didn't know where they went" he asked me for them and put them on for me.

Hubs and I were heading to see his family after being away because he was on orders.
He was speeding. And got a warning.... "officer sorry I'm just excited to see my family, just got off orders"

We had seem them 1-2 times a month while on orders because it was 260mi drive each way lol.

A guy I dated had a lead foot and got pulled over often. He always pulled his military id out before his license...never got a ticket.

Well. When my BFF was about 36 weeks pregnant she got pulled over for her inspection being expired. Her window didn't roll down so she yelled to the cop that she had to open the door, he said OK and she opened it-he saw her huge belly and said, "oh. I see you've been preoccupied. Do your best to get it inspected." and let her go lol

Hubs pulls that id out too lol. But he has gotten 2 speeding tickets. But he's gotten out of a few too.

He got 1 for 23 over... I forget the other speed

I gothave pulled over for speeding...I used the excuse that i was pregnant and really had to pee so i had to hurry and get to a bathroom. Mind you i was sooo not pregnant.

This was posted by a local news station on my fb. A lot of people said they dumped wwater in their lap while pregnant and said their water had broke.

2 years ago my daughter got REALLY REALLY sick and had to be rushed to another counties childrens hospital. She was in heart failure (we did not know that yet) My husband was in the back seat with Brinley trying to stabilize her (the BIG moment in my life where I was thanking god my husband is a doctor) and I was driving about 95 miles an hour. We got pulled and he took one look at her, did not even ask a question and just said 'follow me' He ended up escorting us 45 miles to the children hospital. He was a wonderful police officer to do that.

I got pulled over for the same reason (expired tags), but my ex-dh (dh at the time) had taken my tags and drained our bank account so I couldn't take the kids and leave while he was "on vacation" (meeting up with a girl he met on the internet) for a week... I told the officer what was going on, and that I got paid in 2 days, and would go and get replacement tags then, and he let me go...
