As long as the baby is eating, putting out enough diapers and growing on a consistent curve, probably not.

Every baby is different so it all depends on where your baby started, weight gain, how much she's eating, wet and poopy diaper count...

No .. our DD has always been on the petite side. Her doctor has been monitoring her weight since she was born .. they just can't seem to really get it in their heads that she is petite!!!! (she has her 15 month eval this Friday) She said that if she isn't where "she should be" they are going to push with me giving her Pedisure to get the weight on. Nope, sorry, my DD is healthy and on track with everything! I gave in and stopped trying to boost my milk production and weaned to formula when she was 3 months because they said she wasn't getting enough .. which she wasn't .. but I could have done more to boost my production!!!

Anyway ... sorry about the long response!! LOL

My 15 month old weighs 17 pounds so I say no, but it also depends on their birth weight.
