Went to DMV with my marriage license and they changed it on my ID, then I went to social security and they changed it on my social security card.

The DMV. I got my license changed then I went to the social security office to change it on my SS card. Make sure you take your marriage license as proof your name has changed.

Took my marriage license to the social security office and got a new social security card(for free) and then took both of those to the registry for a new license. That's all !

This. And make sure it's a Certified copy. When we got our marriage license, we got 3 certified copies just in case.
