Do you take notes? I found that when it came to tests I would put all the important info into point form notes with headings and then write them out over and over until it stuck. Idk if that helps but it's the only way I could remember anything.

my only issue is remembering everything i just learned. i cant seem to do it.

its the things like math. for instance im working on fractions.....this is my third shot at fractions. out of 3 times and previous notes and things i have written down i STILL couldnt remember it or retain the information. its like.....i have to do a ton of it all at once.....then test the very next day while its still in my head and hope i dont choke on the test. it really sucks. i have a ton of books and stuff but the issue is when i go back to it after doing other things i cannot for th elife of me remember how to do it, even if i look back at what i have previously done or what notes i had previously written

I wish I could help with that... I failed grade ten math, barely passed it the second time and in grade eleven had an amazing teacher who pity passed me after the exam because I wasn't planning on using it in the future. I failed grade ten science and retook it my extra semester back after grade twelve. I passed with a C. Math and science are and have always been my worst subjects. Like you I choke and can't remember what I'm doing and none of it ever seems to make sense. The only thing I could suggest is a tutor but they are expensive obviously :(

yeah tutors are very expensive. i have DH helping me.....but there is only so much he knows and even he admits he isnt even the best teacher at times. my MIL is (shes retiring this year) but a teacher but having her come up here is......well.......out of the question so i have to find books and ways around it to learn different ways

Have you tried YouTube? I know it sounds weird but there might be some tutorials that may help made by teachers or other students. Sometimes I found that I needed it explained to me in just the right way before I understood it. When it was it just clicked, like a lightbulb going on and it was easy. The hard part was finding a teacher who knew the right way. Sadly after middle school I never had a teacher like that again and struggled.
