SAHM has your DH ever made this comment ?

DH and I were having an argument over how much money he spends on stupid things and it got quite heated since I have hardly left the house in the past year let alone spent any money on myself since we have a special needs child. When out of the blue he made a comment that went a outlet like this " It's my money I earned it , I can spend it however I want , I don't bitch when you spend money so why bitch at me ? I think you have it pretty easy for being 23 and being able to sit at home all day. " I was so pissed I didn't know what to say other than fine I won't manage YOUR money anymore and you can pay the bills on time in full each month and make sure all of our sons needs are met. He attempted to back track after that but I'm still stuck on why it chaps his ass so bad to provide for his wife and son and why it bothers him when i say no you cannot go to the casino and blow $60 because you have 45 minutes of free time or when I get pissed when he spends $140 on new boots when I haven't seen a salon in months! Anyone else ever hear this from their DH ??

Where can I find one of those?

Nope never heard it from Dh. He always tells me that he feels like what I do during the course of a day and still finding to time to be a good mom and wife is hard work.

Yea I have heard that too. But then I very sweetly tell him everything I have done - minute to minute play by play - which includes several "then I picked that mess up - AGAIN" and the "showered while holding the baby - like I do EVERYDAY" and the "got interupted by 3 yr old for a snack, picked that up in time to feed baby again." Followed by "all of that was before noon, where I had to make lunch and repeat it all again"

Which usually shuts him up because he realizes that I don't even get to piss with out at least one child at my feet so he has no right saying that I don't contribute or have say in where the money we depend on him bringing home should go.
