This is my second pregnancy I lost the first one at 9 weeks so I'm still new at this... I go tomorrow for my first ultra sound they say I'm only about 8 weeks but I think I'm farther along than that. today I have felt like I could not get enough food. I ate breakfast this morning and every since then I've felt hungry again every 15 mins is this normal. My mom said I need to be careful cause it could cause problems for the baby and also is it true that if i strech with my hands over my head that it could wrap the umbilical cord around its neck?

I've never heard of the hands over head and cord thing. I have a healthy 3 akmost 4yr old and did plenty of lifting with him. I'm 30weeks today still do heavy lifting, moving, ect and she's fine.
Babies twist and turn which is what wraps the cord.

As for food just eat healthy, its ok to eat and gain weight but everything in moderation. :)

The hands over your head is a old wives tale dont worry!

And just eat healthy! You'll do fine!

Neither of those are true that I have found.

However an old wives tale is that of your hungry all the time it's a boy ;)

With my son I was starving although time for corn dogs and hawiian pizza lol

Now I just want salad and fruit so hoping this baby is a girl lol
