CORPUS CHRISTI - Police say a 13-year-old boy who didn't want to go to school this morning stabbed his uncle and grandmother. Officers came out to the Casa De Manana Apartments on Old Brownsville road after getting a 911 call that the boy was out of control and stabbing people.
The boy was allegedly chasing his aunt in the parking lot when police arrived. The other family members were still inside their apartment after the incident.
We're told the boy was first reported as a runaway yesterday, but he returned home last night. Just before noon the boy got into a fight with his uncle about going to school.
Police say the boy grabbed two knives from the kitchen and started the attack. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the assault.
The boy was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center on charges of aggravated assault and injury to the elderly.
While the family is recovering from the shock of the attack, they may be looking for another place to live. The Casa De Manana apartments has a zero tolerance policy toward violence involving residents.
My thoughts: HOLY MOSES!
