Dont use any acne washes with benzoil peroxide. Anything else is pretty much safe.

I was worried about that too when I was pregnant. My doctor said it was ok to use St. Ives.

The amount that MIGHT penetrate deeper than your pores is so tiny that the person who came out with the warning is more paranoid than any pregnant mama ever will be. Your normal face wash is perfectly fine to use , stay away from any prescription face wash for the first trimester , if your still worried switch to an all natural brand. Like say yes to carrots or my personal favorite that is carried by mark with Avon.

I would talk to your doctor but you are supposed to avoid Retionids and Sylic Acids

So you want to avoid things that say

  • Salicylic acid
  • Beta hydroxy acid
  • BHA

I never knew face wash was an issue while pregnant. I had no idea. I never changed a thing.
