My 6 yr old wants to. I found one that is here in my state and it's a natural pageant so no glitz and glamour. It's only about 65 bucks to enter and i can have someone make her dress.

don't have a daughter but do you know if you want to do natural or glitz (i think thats the name of them) would I though? No clue. To each there own. I like to watch toddlers and tiaras but I also find it a concern that creepy little pedafiles can watch and look at the little girls. But again to each their own.

If I had a daughter... natural or semi-glitz, yes. Otherwise, no. I don't agree with spray tans and waxing on young girls.

Sure if she wanted too. But only the all natural pageants.

How do you know that an 8 month old baby loves doing pageants?

If my daughter were old enough to show interest, yes I would let her, but I would only let her do the pageants that focus on natural beauty and what kind of person you are, not the ones with porn star makeup, fake tans and teeth.

Never. I think it is terribly wrong to teach such young girls that beauty is so important... "natural" or not, you are comparing the outer beauty of little girls! How will she feel when she loses to a prettier girl? It's just not right.

oh hell no. I don't want my DD thinking that her looks are whats important. Don't get me wrong, she is GORGEOUS, but thats not whats important. Being a smart, kind, compassionate individual, with dreams and goals is what should really be valued. Besides, I know I'd get in a fight with one of those crazy pageant moms they show on TV.
