What's the longest you've been away from your child(ren)?

Willingly, that is, such as sending them to the grandparents, summer camp, etc. How old were they? Was it hard for you?

3 days.
They were 2 & 4.

I missed them...but I was more excited about the break!

6 days, my SO took them to seattle with him to visit family, just the twins though, it was really hard!! They have never been away from me longer then 2 days, and they had never met these family members before. So when I would talk to them on the phone they would cry to me how they wanted to come home or wanted me there, lol....I think I cried about every night they were gone, lol. The last 3 days they were there I actually had to talk to them during the afternoon, they seemed less likely to cry for me then...It was a very hard experience for me! in the end they were fine, and wanted to stay, I couldnt wait for them to be home!!! And I told my SO, NEVER again!!!! LOL

Overnight. My oldest will go for two or three days, but my inlaws only live half a mile away so I go visit during the day.
