Lactose intolerance. That's all that is. You just can't have milk with lactose in it. Personally I've had lactose free milk and it taste strange. Maybe it'll be different for you but it's definitely an aquired taste.

As for the first replier: wtf?

It is very comman to develop lactose intolerance at an older age. The majority of adults with it weren't born with it. Many times it has an adult onset which can be triggered by hormone changes etc of pregnancy.

Yea, it sounds like an intolerance. How does your stomach handle other dairy? I get horrible stomach problems if I eat too many things with high fructose corn syrup (candy or processed sugary foods) I never used to be that way, but its slowly happened over the last yr. I guess as we get older its very common for our bodies to not accept things it used to, so we can develop allergies or food intolerances. Try other dairy products and see how your tummy reacts. If you get tummy issues, then its probably the lactose.
