Making new friends cos the old ones are too young?
I had my 1st DS when i was 20. none of my close friends were pregnant and they all went on to have very different lives than mine. just wondering, how and where do u all make new friends after u got pregnant?
I have no friends from before I was pregnant, except ironically my boyfriend. After I had my son I realized that they were all too "young" to hang around because our responsibilities were too different... as in they had none except college, which was great for them but not for me. So I made mommy friends, and then my boyfriend, who was originally in that group, and I got together one rare drunken night and we've been together ever since. He chose to stop being part of that group about a month before we got together and all his friends now are 25+ years, and so are mine. We have a lot more fun with our new friends since they are a little more mature and don't do drugs. :)
How far is too far???
