Im on my third pregnancy and with my first son before I got pregnant I weighed 115 and I gained 50lbs. He weighed 7lb 3oz.. My second pregnancy I started at 125 and gained 63lbs and he weighed 8lb 9 1/2 oz.. This time around I only gained 16lb and I have at the most 2 weeks left because for some unknown reason I cant carry a baby past 37 weeks but thats ok bc I at least make it to where the Drs consider it full term... does the amount of weight I gain determine the weight of the baby?? I asked a friend and she figured I would know this since Im on my third but I never really paid attention until my last appt and the girl mentioned it. I eat everything in sight and its all day every day haha..so I was just curious.. and I keep having dreams she is 6lb 7oz lol...
I gained well under 20 lbs with all of mine. (18 lbs, 15 lbs and 10 lbs to be exact). Weights were 8 lbs 4 oz, 7 lbs 15, 8 lbs 4 oz.
Well as for my weight I got pregnant with my 1st pregnancy and then miscarried I did weigh 155 lbs, and then... I got pregnant with my daughter gained 30 lbs total and I weighed like 170 lbs.And then.. I had her I lost 28 lbs and gained some back over time. Then I got pregnant and at like 8 wks along I miscarried, and then... got pregnant with my son I gained 18 lbs, I was sick with him a lot! And never ate like I should have. Well.. with this baby I am preggo with NOw I am 214 :( But I have been preggo since 08 up and down. A lot of it is also because of the babies weight too. But I will be loosing it and sometimes with your 3rd you loose a lot more like at least 30-50 lbs :) My cousin she weighs 160 lbs now, but she gained 60 lbs with each child. My 1st was 7 lbs 2 ounces, my son was 6 lbs 12 oz, I don't know what my new baby girl will be.
With my first I started at 84 pounds and was 126 or so when I had her. She was only about 10 days early and was 8lbs. 3oz. I don't think weight gain has much to do with how big the baby is. I'm much smaller this time though and I'm curious to see how much she is going to weigh.
