****DISCLAIMER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE WORD SPANKING****
I DON'T CARE IF YOU SPANK OR NOT. DISCIPLINE IS THE KEY. DOESN'T MATTER HOW IT HAPPENS. (And don't get all stupid and pick that apart, b/c I'm not saying abuse your kids, either)
You are welcome to disagree. It won't change my mind.
And who do not know how to spell because of spell check.
Or count change back....
Or...
I'm simply tired of society allowing our youth to accept mediocrity as their personal goal. We should be encouraging competition, a drive to be the BEST form of them they can be. Not saying, "Oh, you TRIED to do the task, it's ok, here's a reward for TRYING..." No... I don't think Babe Ruth became a legend by TRYING to be good at baseball. Nor did Michael Jordan TRY to play basketball. They excelled, pushed themselves, etc. And that is what I expect from my own children, and what I expect society to EXPECT from my children. That they always tried their best to be their best.
