Ttc baby #2 is going to be difficult I think since baby # 1 was a surprise. I have pcos, I'm concerned because ive been watching my cycle and taking ovulation tests at home but according to the test I'm not ovulating!!?? I'm having my period but no ovulation? I don't know what to think and idk if I should go to the obgyn or give it some more time? Any advice?

Go to the doctor.

And those ovulation tests don't work 99% of the time for women with pcos. Are you on any medication to treat your pcos?

They told me besides "the pill" which would regulate my cycle there wasn't much to be done. But I am having normal cycles now since I had my son but I'm worried I may not be ovulating.

There is plenty to "be done". You need a new doctor asap.

A gyno or reproductive endo.

I take metformin for mine.

I'm on glyburide since my pregnancy the " insulin resistance" turned into full blown diabetes ahhhh and I'm on meds for that and trying desperately to loose weight, gained weight since I had my baby not lost any ! I think alot of it is stress

They can run tests to see if you are ovulating.

If you aren't there lots of pcosers have good results with clomid

I have pcos and TTC was hard for my 1st.
I used the ovacue fertility monitor whice I loved.
My RE also put me on metfirmin to help regulate me and clomid to help me ovulate.

I have all the signs of PCOS and have been TTC for 6 years.  I found out (and this pisses me off) that if you have taken Depakote (which I took for a week before being taken off at 14 due to blood tests confirming it was damaging my liver) that Depakote is linked to a high chance of women developing PCOS so at least I know how i got the PCOS! (None of the women in my family have had problems concieving).   I find out on August 24th if I have it or not but I have all the signs like I said above.  I read I think a couple days ago that often women with PCOS do NOT ovulate at all or rarely ovulate on their own without drugs.  :(  Good luck.
