Anybody ever have to get their septic tank pumped? How much did it cost? We have water/sewage backing up the pipes in our basement and think we need the tank pumped.

My parents have a trailer in Ky and just had their septic tank cave in. They had to pay to have it replaced. I dont remember if my mom said how much it costs to have it pumped.

Maybe call around to a few places and get an estimate. Sounds like u may want to do that sooner rather then later.

If you rent call your landlord, if you own your house then I would call around for estimates, I've always rented so I don't know but here's a bump for you :)

i just had my mom's house serviced and i paid like $200 because they removed EVERYTHING, shop around and prefferably stay in the house or something because th e smell it pretty bad, but  it goes away about 1 hr after they finish, and do it as soon as possible.

We had our pumped a couple of months ago and I think it was $250. It didn't really made the house smella bad or anything. We were home when they did it.

I think it depends in how big the tank is and how many you have we had ours pumped a few years ago but we were under home warranty. Your best bet is to
Just call around and compare prices
