Sounds like anxiety/depression. Depression has many symptoms and they vary person to person. The most common I would say are feelings of hopelessness, lack of interest in favorite activities, sleeping too much or too little and a change in appetite.
((Hugs)) to you and your husband. I hope he starts to feel better and hugs to you because I know how hard it is to see someeone you love in pain.
i pretty sure you can get depressed from just about anything. if he has been diagnosed with ptsd then he is even more at risk. just keep an eye on him and recommend he see a therapist. i was suffered from depression as a teenager. they put me on antidepressant and i went nuts. but when i was depressed i was so emotional. i cried myself to sleep almost every night. anything in my life that went wrong felt like a catastrophe. i had suicidal thoughts and i lost so much weight. i slept all the time. stuff like that
PTSD left untreated will manifest into depression. It's considered co-occurring. Please ask him to go to counseling. Prayers.
