Are clomid and seasonique the same thing???

My doc told me he had started me on seasonique... i took my first pill a week later on July 8th. aweek after i was supposed to start them.

July 9th I had unprotected sex

2 weeks later i started getting sick... but no positive pregnancy tests... hten i thought i had one but it was negative the next day... no AF because seasonique stops your period...

I had unprotected sex On August 6th and 8th. Now I woke up with a very light spot in my underwear but no more after that... I'm not sure whats going on if its just breakthrough or if it could be implantation because despite the fact i'm on BC i do want a baby, its just the wrong time.

i was told seasonique can mess with your hormones and cause bfn til 8 weeks... but now i'm wondering if i'm even on seasonique because the pharmacist called about my clomid and i dont know what that is... he said it was my birth control... are they the same thing or do they have different side effects??? My obgyn told me that seasonique after the first month of pills i was safe to not be safe during sex... is it the same for clomid if theyre different??? because i'm really worried i'm pregnant and if so whats going to happen to the baby??? I finished my first month of pills august 5th.

My LMP was June 25th

Please let me know what you think... i'd really appreciate it...

.........really ? Clomid is a fertility drug used to stimulate follicle growth to mature an egg . It comes in a prescription bottle not a birthcontrol pack . More than likely you are receiving the generic form of seasoniqe (sp) and that is what the pharmacist said . Look at your birthcontrol packet and tell us what the same on your prescription label says . Also your gyno should have explained that it can rake upwards of 6 months to regulate any breakthrough bleeding on birthcontrol. Not to mention the type your taking is done in three month intervals so you should not be expecting a period infill the beginning of month 4 of use .

..... i'm so confused by your posts.

You are pregnant, you aren't, you think you are.

You want a baby, you don't want a baby...

either way I hope you get what you want!

How can she? It's lose lose. Birth control equals no baby. Unprotected sex before bith control is effective equals baby. Continue taking bc while you are "pregnant" equals no baby.... O_o

I'm just lost. I'm trying to follow her story. I just hope in the end she gets whatever she wants (still not clear what that is).
