So I thought that my mother loved my new boyfriend she was calling him her son in law and everything. Well she informed me the other day that she think's he acts to much like my father(they are divorced) I do see similarities of my father in my BF but nothing major. My parents have hated every BF I have ever had and I never really cared what they thought as long as I was happy. I still dont care but deep down I want acceptance from both sides. My dad absolutly loves him which is a huge difference for me. I love that I can go to my dads and not have to worry about them fighting. Im just wondering if anyone else has issues like this with their BF or DH??

My father hates every man in my life. But that's okay. He hates me too. My mom lives dh, and Im glad for that. She calls him her "favorite son in law" lol

My dad says same thing about my dh.. but I'm the only girl out of my siblings and my brothers are straight so of course he is his fav son in law lol.. my dad says I'm his fave daughter..once again I'm his only daughter lol

My mom loves my DH. I really have no idea what my dad thinks since we only talk like once a year.
