I was induced at 36 weeks because my son went into distress. It was an awful process for me. It was literally 0 to 60 within a matter of minutes. The contractions were literally on top of each other and I couldn't breathe. But, it had to be done because I didn't want a csection. My second child, I labored naturally, and it was so much better.

I wouldn't just tell someone to have an induction for no reason, cuz honestly, it sucks. But puppps sucks! My friend had it. Do whatcha gotta do mama!! Good luck!

My water broke the night before we were scheduled to be induced. Honestly, I'm glad. I still got a little Pitocin, but just enough to move things along. Starting from scratch can take a while. Labor can take a while period LOL but I preferred going into labor naturally.

My water broke and I wasn't even dilated or contracting so I was induced and it sucked. My daughter almost went into distress twice during it and I wasn't allowed to walk around, move, or do anything. I literally had to lie there for 14 hrs until I had my baby. I want to go into labor on my own next time!

I was induced with my DD at 38 weeks because with each contraction her heart rate was dropping. It wasn't bad for me at all! They broke my water at about 3 1/2 CM and then I had to have a C-Section because I wouldn't dialate and my water had been broken for over 10 hours. My contracts were off the charts, I had to get an internal monitor, but, I didn't take any pain meds till they put me back for my c-section. I had a blast with my delivery... the nurses swore I was crazy. I was watching mvoies with my family and sitting on a bouncy birthing ball. My inducement was fine. But, I know it's not like that for everyone.

Induction almost always leads to c section. Wait until your body I'd ready.
