People look at me weird when they find out how old he is and wonder why I want to date such an "older man".
Lol I don't see him as "old". 9 years older than me isn't old...
Now if he was like 50, I'd get it.
So, how old is too old? Is your husband much older than you? And how does it work out?
I think as long as they're close to the same generation, it's okay. Oh, and both people have to be legal. If someone is under 18, I think 3-4 years is the limit. My husband isn't much older than me, he'll be 28 on Friday, I'm 24.

IMO if your man and your father would have attended high school during the same time frame than that is too old.
My husband is 7 years older than me, and we don't have any problems because of the age difference. Actually, we're very close and it feels like there is no age gap at all. When we first started dating, people thought it was weird too. But over time those people will realize that when you really love and respect each other, the age doesn't matter. We're committed to each other and we always will be.

My father was 7 years older than my mom. The were happily in love with each other until my dad died. They are both gone now.
My husband is 3 years younger than me and things are great!
