Did you stop letting your different gender children take baths together? My stepson and my DD are 9 and 3. My 3 year old loves her big brother, they are very close. Well she wanted to take a bath with her brother tonight. I felt kinda iffy about it, but my DH said to let them. His sister is 4 years older than him and they took showers together until an older age. What do you laddies think???

Please no bashing

My dd and dss never bathe together she's 8 and the boys are 5 and 3. They bathe together but she does alone. I'm due with a girl in March when she's big enough if my dd wanna to bathe with her she can. But my personal preference is no cross gender bathing.

2 moms liked this
I personally think that that is too much of age difference especially for opposite genders.

Sorry, but I think that's too old and too much of an age difference. Not bashing, but just suggesting - have them wear bathing suits? They shouldn't be seeing each others privates at those ages IMO. Opposite genders should probably stop when one of them turns 4 or 5.

I only have boys. But I would be uncomfortable with opposite genders bathing together at all.
