Anyone work or worked for walmart?

okay this is going to sound a little weird. Every single time I go to walmart, I see the same guy walking around. He's in normal clothes so it doesn't LOOK like he works there, but it doesnt look like hes shopping either. Well I saw him there tonight as I was walking in, and he went into this "secret door" in the entry way of walmart and the door just had a little peephole. No signs, nothing. What is that room?Why does it look like he lives there?!

Does anyone know what that room is?

He is probably asset protection and that is probably a security room.

He's probably in loss prevention and that's the security monitor room.

The room is the surveilance( I know I butchered that) room. He's loss prevention, they casually stroll the store in plain clothes looking for shop lifters.

It's loss prevention. I've seen the one in our local store multiple times going in that room. The last time he left the door open so I could see the cameras. And no I was not being purposefully nosy lol

He's the loss prevention which is when someone shoplifts he's the one who catches him

He's Loss Prevention (LP). That room shows him everything going on.

Often, LP will walk around "shopping" near suspicious people to see if they are shoplifting.

Yeah, I used to work at Walmart he is most likely loss prevention and that is the security room. I get the reason for LP but I think they need multiple people, I had many people, even coworkers, complain about these guys being creepy!!!
