would it be a good idea to potty train when my son a year old. he dont go to the potty when the diaper is off. i was thinking in spring summer time.

Pediatricians say that you know when a child is ready to use the potty when they wake up in the morning with a dry diaper. If he does, and cooperates when you take him to a potty at that age than I say Heck Yes you can!! If he doesn't cooperate than don't push it.

he had a bad rash and his doc told me to keep a diaper off as much as i can when i do he wont do but when he feels a diaper then he will. he dont go in his bath and he stays in there til cold water comes.

If he's ready then yeah. He'll show interest if he is ready

does going into our bathroom by the tollet and trying to stand is interest. my sister kid is 5 and he just got potty train.
