Why allergy medication I safe to take while pregnant? It's been almost 4 my ears since I had my dd and don't remember.

 when in doubt talk to a doctor some are ok and some are not

Dh and I are ttc, still a little early to test but I have always been cautious when it comes to taking any meds if I could possibly be pregnant. I will probably just suck it up and deal until I know for sure.

 I was told Claritin is safe, but never to go over the recommended dosage. And trust me, it sucks. I am allergic to the entire outside world and usually take a prescription just to keep mine somewhat under control...and I wasn't allowed to take it. Zyrtec is also okay to take, according to my dr. just again not over the recommended dosage.
